National Account Manager

Position

At Davis a National Account Manager is a true hunter. The Account Manager is responsible for selling and developing staffing opportunities across the U.S. and Canada, offering a full range of Information Technology (IT) and Engineering staffing services. The Account Manager is held accountable for personal production while contributing to the overall success of the business center. This position is the stepping-stone to developing relationships with local, regional and national clients by prospecting and cold calling to uncover their specific staffing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales leads and work within the Davis Model
  • Develop relationships and grow them into clients

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a technology environment
  • Experience in prospecting, cold calling, and client presentations within a professional business-to-business sales organization
  • Strong communication and organizational skills in order to maintain a level of activity which includes qualifying prospects, scheduling client meetings, pipelining qualified candidates, and generating revenue.

Desired Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Sales, or related fields.
  • Experience selling IT/Engineering staffing solutions
  • Knowledge of ERP, technical architecture, application and software development, data warehousing, business intelligence, Design Engineering, etc.

Job Description

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of Technical Recruiting experience.
  • Bachelors Degree or higher.
  • Proficient in Technical recruiting, screening, resource management, on-project utilization tracking, relationship (Resource & Resource Vendor) management
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Highly Professional with excellent negotiation power and convincing abilities.
  • Experience and detail understanding of Contract staffing business model including resource screening, rate negotiation, submissions, interview scheduling, follow-ups, contracts discussions, closing a placement deal successfully and time tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
  • Strategic decision making skills.
  • People person.
  • Ability to exceed assigned target goals
