Davis Temporary Employee Benefits

We offer an outstanding benefit package including an affordable, comprehensive medical benefit, available from the 1st day on the job. The following is a sample of the Davis Companies benefits package available to the employees:

Paid Holiday time off

Paid Holiday Time is based on regular hours worked. After working a total of 1,800 regular hours (45 weeks full time), the contractor becomes eligible to be paid for time off on any six (6) of the approved list of sixteen holidays listed below. The holidays are paid as eight-hour days regardless of schedule and must be taken on the actual holiday or the day that the holiday is recognized Nationally.

After completing the initial 1800-hour requirement, contractors have the opportunity to earn additional Paid Holiday Time. For every additional 400 regular hours worked, the contractor becomes eligible to be paid for one additional eight-hour Holiday. During the hours calculations process there can be no gap in service of more than 4 consecutive weeks. In the event that there is a gap, the contract would start over working toward the 1800-hour threshold.

Health Insurance

Outstanding medical/health benefit with immediate eligibility - enrollment can take place within 30 days of employment. This is a very affordable, realistic plan offered to employees and dependants.

401(k) Plan

All Davis contract employees are eligible for enrollment in a John Hancock managed 401k plan. Eligibility is at 30 days of employment. Enrollment is quarterly; offering five high to low risk, tax free investment vehicles for savings/retirement purposes. There is a Davis Companies match after one year of service of 25 cents on the dollar, up to 4% of salary.
